First day of school.
Mrs. Waldren and Ethan
He found his name tag.

Ethan's first day of Preschool with Mrs. Waldren. Ethan was so ready to get back to school. I stupidly sent him to school in flip-flops, but oh well. This is Ethan's second year of Preschool, but his first year at St. John's. He's very lucky to have Mrs. Waldren for her last year of teaching. The last picture is of the flowers on the way into Preschool. Ethan really liked them and asked me to take the picture. :) They are actually right outside of Madi's class window.

Madi's First Day of School

Emma and Madison at Backyard Burger.

Madison's first day of school as a 1st grader. She was so excited to go back! Her teacher is Mrs. Mattson and there are 20 kids in the class. The first day was a half day so we went to lunch with the Baumfalk's afterwards. Madison's choice was Backyard Burger (kids ate free that day). As you can see they had fun having lunch together.

T-Ball

Team Cyclones
She got a snack even though she couldn't play.
On third getting ready to go home.

Third Baseman
Madi just hit the ball.

I felt so bad because I didn't end up getting any pictures of Madi playing t-ball this year. I kept forgetting my camera and then it was too late. She broke her arm and couldn't play at the last game. Luckily, my friend Becky had a few pictures that had Madi in them! At least I got the team picture. At the last game the girls and coaches had signed a card for her which was really sweet. We had a hard year this time with t-ball because some girls wouldn't show. One game we didn't even have enough girls to play so we had to borrow a couple from the other team. Next year my dad, Nick and Erik are going to hopefully take over as coaches.

For some reason these pictures are out of order and I can't get them moved. School was about to start and the kids reminded me that they STILL hadn't been to the capital. They were very excited to be able to go with Emma and Briella. At the capital we took the tour, which wasn't that exciting according to the kids. They really liked going to the observation deck and looking from so high up. We even found daddy's building from way up there. After we looked around the capital we went across the street to the fountain. It was a nasty green color, but Ethan was THRILLED to be right next to it.
