Cutting It Up!

Friday we went and did our school supply shopping for Madison. One of the items she needed was a pair of scissors. Ethan begged me to buy him a pair so I did. I never knew scissors could be so much fun, until I met Ethan. I remember Madison being excited to cut things, but he absolutely LOVES it!! He'll stand at the recycling bag and cut whatever is on top. Today he yelled down and asked Madi if she wanted to come up and join him cutting paper. She came up and they had a blast. I had to take pictures because a smile never left Ethan's face. LOL!!! Kids are such a blessing!

Brooke's Creation

Brooke was in town for the 4th of July and on the 5th we went to Paint Yourself Silly. These are pictures of what she painted. Her ice cream cone turned out great! We had fun even though Nick was bored. I told her we went to pick up our pieces and she wanted to see a picture so here it it! I know she'll love that's it's on the web for everyone to see!!

Happy 4th of July!!

We had a lot of fun at Sara's house, in Omaha, for the 4th. Sara is my 3rd cousin and we have kids that are close in age that seem to get along very well. The kids played hard and went to bed really late! The adults enjoyed the fireworks and ate too much! I really love the first three pictures of the kids. Brooke was a little reluctant, but the first picture was bad so she gave in for a second one. The picture with Ethan and the net is him telling me he caught a lightning bug. The last picture is of Madi watching the fireworks. We were surrounded by people letting of really nice fireworks till at least midnight when we finally packed it up.

Madi is 6 years old. These pictures were taken the night of her birthday. We let her open one present. She got Moon Sand. The last picture is her trying to open the plastic bag that some of the pieces came in.
