Another Loss

On the May 8th, Madi lost her first wiggly tooth. It's not the first tooth that she's lost, but the first one was pulled because it got fractured. Her front bottom tooth had been wiggly for quite a while and we had been waiting for it to come out. Madi on the other hand didn't want to loose it, so it basically fell out on it's own. Naturally, we were driving when it came out and she flipped out when it happened. I had to pull over to get her semi-calmed down. She finally accepted that she was down another tooth and everything was alright. I thought kids wanted to loose their teeth!!

Keen Fashion Sense

Let's face it, some kids have it and some kids don't. In these two pictures my kids DON'T! The top one is Ethan with Madi's swim cap on. Don't ask what's up with the cheesy smile. He was acting silly. The bottom picture...Madi had on capris and decided she was going to wear her boots. I tried to talk her out of it, but no! I told her that was fine, but not if we left the house. What goofballs!

Easter

The first two pictures are the morning of Easter at home. I made the kids get dressed fast so they could find their eggs before we went to 9am mass. The other four pictures are at my grandparents house. They each had a color of egg to find and they loved it. Every time Ethan saw an egg he said, "Ah Ha!". Then he would make a comment about the egg having dirt on it. The day before Easter we went to my dad's and the kids were able to hunt for eggs there too. In the end, I think they enjoyed the egg hunting more than the candy inside. Easter was a good time and we enjoyed getting together with our families. We are so blessed!

Coloring Eggs

As I said I would get back to Easter. We colored eggs two days before Easter. The kids had fun and wished we had more to do. We ended up with some really neat looking eggs. I got in on the fun and dyed some non-hardboiled eggs.

Haircut

April Fool's Day- Madi wasn't joking around. She wanted to cut her hair short. I thought we were going to get a trim and add some layers, but she had other thoughts. I asked her several times to make sure that she wanted it short. She had made up her mind and she likes it! Daddy likes it because it doesn't take as long to comb her hair after bathtime.
